Man stelle sich eine kleines Kaff vor, irgendwo in den rauhen Winden der östlichsten, Ostdeutschen Ostseeküste. Inmitten eines stumpfsinnigen und dem Leben nicht mit äußerster Freundlichkeit zugewandten Schlags von Menschen beugt sich eine Insel spritziger Schwingungen der Brandung des Trübsals. Zum Ziel gemacht, die Region mit dem Sound sonniger Warmherzigkeit zu sprengen, raufen sich vier halbbegnadete Musiker zusammen und beginnen Songs zu schreiben. Songs, die die Kraft besitzen, die Eintönigkeit mit einer Brise tropischer Meeresluft hinfort zu wehen. Erste Auftritte auf Hochzeiten und in Dorf Diskotheken erbringen jedoch nicht den erhofften Zuspruch, zumal das Publikum im wesentlichen aus Hard Trance, Schlager, Metal oder Goa Fans besteht. Als die Band zu zerfallen droht, beschließen sie in Berlin ihr Glück zu versuchen. Nach einigen Monaten werden sie dann tatsächlich, durchgebügelt von sowohl prekären Schlaf-, als auch Auftritts Situationen, in einem ranzigen Schuppen in Köpenick vom Label Schrott Rec. entdeckt. Von ihrer Musik begeistert, bietet es ihnen prompt die Möglichkeit ihre erste Ep aufzunehmen und zu veröffentlichen.

So, oder so ähnlich hat es sich zugetragen.

Imagine a small town, somewhere in the rough winds of the easternmost, East German Baltic Sea coast. In the midst of dull people with, due to the weather, a not necessarily optimistic attitude towards life, an island of sparkling vibrations bends to the surf of the gloom. With the aim of blasting the region with the sound of sunny warmth, four musicians get together and start writing songs. Songs that have the power to blow away the monotony with a breeze of tropical sea air. First gigs at weddings and in village discos do not bring the hoped-for response, especially since the audience consists mainly of Hard Trance or Schlager fans. When the band threatens to split, they decide to try their luck in Berlin. After a few months they are discovered by the label Schrott Rec. in a rancid shed in Köpenick, ironed out by precarious sleeping and performance situations. Thrilled by their music, the label promptly offers them to record and release their first ep under the shelter of Schrott Rec..

So, or something similar happened.
